Zermatt

Haaaallelujah!!!

What a bloody relief! I have finally found somewhere to have my “Strong mama” (mama baby) class after almost TWO MONTHS (!!!) of searching and negotiating! It makes me angry and really upset how difficult it is to find locations here in Zermatt. How can it be that there is so little space and so few who are willing to see the benefits of letting people train (or do something else) and have somewhere to go and socialize? Everything that is being built is for the tourists, what about us who always live here?

Anyway, this has stolen enough energy from me and now I will just look with positive feelings on this new opportunity and make something good out of it!

Here are the hours if you want to join us! Pregnant, new mum, old mum, grandma or you who just wants to train and dont mind babies  are welcome!

Tuesdays 9.30-10.10

Fridays: 10.00-11.00

You need: Training shoes, bottle of water, comfortable clothes

Baby needs a toy or two, and a blanket to lie on, maybe something to eat?

Baby BOOM

Yehepp!

I am knocked up, expecting, I have a bun in the oven, i am up the duff, baby on board, eating for two (not true), swallowed a water melon….you understand…

…and it is fabulous!!!!! It has been hard to keep it a secret here on the blog, even though my family and friends have known it for a while now. It is really hard “to come out” even if it is VERY happy news. Often it feels like stealing the thunder from a conversation or that I would some how lose the main focus of the blog…which is ridiculous since training and pregnancy really goes hand in hand. Although, very different training.

So, now for a while this blog will also be about pregnancy, additional to training and nutrition. I hope you will like that. I will be very honest about my feelings, I hope that will also be appreciated! Pregnancy and becoming a mother is a very sensitive subject and everybody have their opinion of how to do things and how you are supposed to feel about the new life that grows inside you. It is often said that “pregnant women glow”, that it is wonderful to be pregnant and “you are blessed”. I guess it is all more or less true. It is an incredible gift and I am very happy and excited (don’t understand me wrong) but I would also have liked that people talked more about how SHIT it can be sometimes.

But, all this will be worth it in the end (it is already worth it now when I feel it kick inside me). And I would never like to change it…however, I already prepared demian that next kid will be adopted…

So, many happy posts, and sometimes a few truths that you maybe didn’t know…

If you are swedish and would like to read other blogs who tell the truth instead of only pink clouds, I recommend Kitty Jutbring who write about her feelings and fears. She just got her baby so you have to scroll down to read about her pregnancy. At least I am a person who wants to know both good and bad things instead of being surprised….
