concentration difficulties

Heellooo from my lazy bubble!

My body is on holiday, I have slept until 9 o’clock two mornings in a row and if nothing special happens I easily stay in my pajama until after lunch…nice and a little bit frustrating at the same time. Today I was lucky, Andreas called and suggested a coffee in the village and since I had been in front of the computer for an hour trying to work (without success) I quick got dressed and packed the computer and went down to the village.

Now Andreas left me to myself and I will try to make new flyers and some other jobs done. Easier said than done! But I already did something that I have been thinking to do for a long time. I ordered the Lactate Scout+ which means that I can soon do more advanced tests in the gym. I really look forward to be able to get a even better picture of my clients physical condition, with one more parameter full of information. So if you feel like testing your physical capacity and get ideas and help of how to take your training further, book a lactate test with me!

Over and out for now!

Lets get it started

Oh my god what an evening! I have headache from watching this Felix Baumgartner jumping from space. Thank glad it all went well!

After writing this I have to have a shower and recover with a book or something a lot less exciting.

Has been a busy sunday today with planning, meetings and some training for myself. First some strength with the kids and then a short bike tour in the afternoon together with Demian. And tomorrow I already start the Mama+Baby Kraft Training=) Why wait when you can start already tomorrow! So if you know someone with a baby or someone who is pregnant, let her know about Monday mornings 8.45 in the Triftbachhalle=) I made this flyer but it is not all finished yet, have to get help with translation.

This flyer can also be found under Zermatt Movement in the menu above.

Now shower! See you tomorrow!

Lunch training

The kids in Zermatt eat lunch at home, very different from in Sweden where we get food in school. Anyhow, they have a 2 hour break every lunch, and since Demian had problems to find time to train the oldest kids in the ski team I suggested him to train on the lunch break every now and then. In that way he can focus on their development and ensure them to get  exercises for their age and ability.

Last week I was responsible for the training and we performed a heavy strength class with lots of cardio. Ten exercises with short break and mostly only body weight. Time flew away and I could see they liked the concept. 10-15 minutes warm up, 30 min strength, 10-15 minutes cool down. Perfect=)

Will try to put some pictures and explanations in the blog in the nearest future!

Wednesday

After a morning in the paper recycle container with these two i am now preparing the training for the skiers:) todays focus is endurance! Intervals with high intensity and short break, plus more interval training by playing football:)

Afterwards i think i will be pretty dead, being with children is so much fun but MAN does it take a lot of energy! So home for a nap, snack and office and preparations for tomorrows pt class!

The PT also have to be fit

Sometimes I feel that I would need a PT myself. Someone who pushes me to take the fight, suffer the pain and take me a bit further. Even though my job is all about training, and giving massage is also pretty exhausting, the quality of my work outs are pretty bad. A few repetitions here, a few repetitions there, a rush there to make my client run faster and one interval every now and then to feel how difficult it is for the client…

And after a PT class I seldom feel like training myself..so, it has to happen BEFORE the class..(note to myself)

Today however, I went biking up to the embankment! 40min in a nice tempo and then down again..one hour training, doesn’t have to be more complicated than that (note to myself 2…and to all of you who read, don’t make it complicated)
